Experience a private hammam at Çemberlitaş Hamamı, one of the world’s most famous bathhouses, built in 1741. Away from the busy tourist hours, you’ll experience the traditional Ottoman hammam ritual during a time slot reserved just for you. The experience begins as you lie on the warm marble platform, the göbek taşı, allowing your body to relax and heat up. Then a professional attendant will perform a traditional kese scrub — leaving your skin incredibly soft. The foam massage follows, with rich lather covering your body from head to toe. When it’s over, you can unwind in the cold and hot pools, with sherbet and Turkish tea served to you. A timeless experience beneath 500-year-old marble domes. Each session is limited to a maximum of 2 people — completely private and personal.
