Sufi Meditation & Sema Experience

Inspired by Mevlana’s 800-year-old tradition, this experience combines Sufi meditation with the practice of whirling. This is not a performance — participants take part in the practice themselves. Guided by a Sufi instructor, you will learn dhikr (repetitive mantra), breathing exercises, and slow whirling techniques. Whirling is as much a spiritual experience as it is a physical movement — a way to find balance, cleanse the ego, and connect with the universe. The experience takes place in a private venue, accompanied by the ney and bendir. White garments are provided for participants. This experience is offered as a spiritual practice, not a religious ritual. People of all faiths and cultures are welcome.
