Discover the quieter and more authentic Heybeliada, away from the crowds of Büyükada. This island is ideal for those who want to see the non-touristy side of local life. After taking the ferry to the island, enjoy a walk through the back streets. You'll hear the story of the historic Theological School (Heybeliada Theological School), the island's most important structure. There’s an opportunity to swim at a hidden beach on the southern coast of the island (during the summer months). Enjoy crystal-clear waters without the crowds. Lunch is available at a small restaurant in the fishing harbor (optional, at an additional cost). Volkan Bey, a local, knows the story behind every corner of the island.
