A 12 km trekking route in Belgrad Forest, the lungs of Istanbul. Mr. Ahmet, a professional mountaineer and nature guide, has been managing these routes for 15 years. The route passes by historical Ottoman water dams — you will see Valide Dam, Topuzlu Dam, and Büyük Dam. These structures are masterpieces of Ottoman engineering that supplied water to Istanbul. Deep in the forest, you will be completely away from the city's noise. We will take breaks at birdwatching points — over 300 bird species live in Istanbul. After trekking, a light lunch at the picnic area in the forest. Professional trekking poles and a first aid kit are available with the guide.
